Our Zagori
ZAGORI Natural Mineral Water is created only by nature, in the pure and protected Natura area of the northern Pindos mountain range. Its journey in the greater Zagori area starts as snow flake or rain drop. It then slowly flows through the underground rocks, where it is naturally enriched, and acquires its unique composition. Pure and natural, as created in this pristine natural protected environment away from human activity, it is safely bottled within 3” directly from the Zagori natural water source. “ZAGORI” Natural Mineral Water is nature’s pure product, without any processing or human intervention.
The origin of our Zagori natural mineral water
Northern Pindos
Our water begins its natural journey on the high peaks of the mountains of Northern Pindos.
Natural Filtering
During its long journey through the underground rocks and through the geological formations of this untouched and protected area, it is naturally filtered and naturally enriched with all the precious minerals and nutrients of nature.
Our sources
The water reaches the two ZAGORI natural mineral water sources, at the foothills of the Zagorochoria mountain range at an altitude of 485 m, directly from the underground aqcuifier. When it reaches the sources, the natural mineral water has already naturally aquired all its essential minerals and its rich composition and its balanced mild taste.
Bottled at the source
ZAGORI Natural Mineral Water is bottled directly from the underground aquifer and the underground source into the bottle within 3''. With the use of advanced bottling technology, the production process takes place in a closely monitored and protected environment, without any external intervention, a procedure that safeguards and quarantees the water's superior and unique quality.

Our effort to preserve and protect the exceptional quality of ZAGORI natural mineral water, is evident throghout the whole process starting from the protection and monitoring of the water source, in the Zagorochoria mountain range and its packaging materials, until our natural mineral water reaches the final point of sale, by carrying out strict controls at every step of this journey. Throughout the entire cycle of production and distribution of ZAGORI products, continuous quality controls are carried out analyzing all microbiological, chemical and organoleptic characteristics, always in compliance with the legislation in force and through the application of strict quality control systems in the natural mineral water, the water source and the finished products.
Our History
1988
Launch of “ZAGORI” Natural Mineral Water in 1988.
The second generation of leadership Alkiviadis and Konstantinos Chitos launched their own bottled water brand Zagori Natural mineral water in the Greek market, by utilizing their accumulated know-how and their 30 years of experience in the bottling industry.
1995
The privately owned water sources are officially recognized as sources of “ZAGORI” Natural Mineral Water (No. Recognition: Y2/οικ. 3716/18.12.95).
2006
With a production capacity of 180,000 bottles per hour, “ZAGORI” Natural Mineral Water becomes the no.1 bottled water in the Greek market for the first time.
2021
ZAGORI steadily remains in the 1st position of bottled water market, with the widest product range covering all water consumer needs .
